UPS acceptance inspection and testing

In order to ensure that the performance of the UPS system in the data center meets the requirements for normal operation, systematic testing of the UPS and its related systems must be conducted before the UPS is put into operation with load in the data center, including electrical performance, physical connections, working environment, and other checks. Check the system’s function of collecting and storing operating parameters: main input voltage, bypass input voltage, output voltage, output current, output frequency, battery voltage, charge/discharge current, battery temperature, etc.
Static inspection of UPS system

  1. UPS input and output parameter inspection: Input and output voltage, current, frequency, power, power factor, voltage harmonic distortion.
  2. Input overvoltage and undervoltage protection check: 1. Simulate the state where the input voltage exceeds the allowable range of change, and check whether the UPS system can automatically switch to battery power supply; Simulate the restoration of the input voltage to the normal range state and check whether the UPS system can automatically switch from battery inversion to normal working mode.
  3. Output overvoltage and undervoltage protection check: Check whether the system alarms when the inverter output voltage exceeds the set overvoltage and undervoltage values, and install the bypass power supply status.
  4. System circuit breaker protection detection: Check whether the AC main input, bypass input, and AC output circuit breaker protection devices of the system are qualified and normal.
  5. Monitoring performance testing: Check the working condition of standard communication interfaces such as RS232 or RS485/422, IP/USB in the UPS system; Normal system operation/battery inverter/bypass power supply, overload, low battery discharge voltage, mains power failure, power module status.

    Environmental and appearance inspection
  6. Cleanliness of the backup power system space for the equipment
  7. Temperature and humidity inside the computer room
  8. Dust and cleanliness inside the computer room
  9. Waterproof situation of the floor and roof inside the computer room
  10. Bearing capacity of the computer room floor slab
    External link check
  11. Is the UPS input/output connection wire secure and reliable
  12. Is the internal and external wiring of the output and input switch cabinet of the power distribution system secure
  13. Whether the installation of the switchgear is stable and whether the relevant operating mechanisms operate flexibly
  14. Is the setting value of the circuit breaker in the distribution cabinet accurate and correct

  15. Are the equipment and electrical components in the distribution cabinet securely connected
