Requirements for inverters in photovoltaic power generation systems

1. It can be automatically switched on and off. Based on the daily photovoltaic irradiance, maximize the potential output power of the photovoltaic cell array and expect it to automatically start and stop within this range.

2. Capable of achieving maximum power point tracking (MPPT) control. When the surface temperature and photovoltaic irradiance of the photovoltaic array undergo arbitrary changes, the array can still maintain the maximum power output working state under control, thereby improving the conversion efficiency of the solar cell.

3. Meet the requirements of power quality in the power grid. In order to avoid pollution of the public power grid caused by the photovoltaic power generation grid connection system, the inverter should output a sine wave with low distortion. One of the important factors affecting waveform distortion is the switching frequency of the inverter. High speed DS with new processors can be used to increase the switching frequency. In addition, power components should be appropriately selected based on the system capacity.
